F Cancer is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit and registered Canadian charity that uses wit, edge, and humor, to improve health outcomes. Their aim was to increase brand awareness, evolve the live-event model, and boost donations through human-centered campaigns and evergreen partnerships.
F Cancer needed a brand that represented everyone in the fight against cancer, but that also represented the individual battles; breast cancer, lung cancer, leukemia, melanoma, etc.
Through an updated website, the organization was able to run multiple cancer awareness programs, multiple live events, and announce new merchandise for sale.
The homepage allowed past and current events to be displayed and promoted, which led to an increase in ticket sales and expanded musician partnerships.
Flexible content modules within the site were designed to highlight, and showcase awareness programs as well as strategic partnerships.
An increase in the number of partnership opportunities showed these digital initiatives to be effective.
While overseeing the social channels, I implemented strong community-driven campaigns that boosted engagement. I worked with strategic partners in creating informative, and conversation driving posts as well as revising the weekly posting schedule. In my time with the organization, I was able to grow the social community by 45% and give validity to not only the brand's voice but the larger community's as well.
